Lovely image Jeff! How fantastic to see these beautiful animals in the wild- and to get the shots. I love the composition with the mother and cubs forming a nice 'flow' through the frame and with all faces visible. Excellent detail in nice light.

Is this cropped ? Do pumas have twin cubs mostly?

Yes, this is a crop of the original capture.  They can have anywhere from one to six cubs, but two is the usual number.

This is so nice! I really like the composition but what stands out most is the warm color of the cats in the nearly monochrome setting.
