The Lion King of Nsefu sitting on the river bank: Captured Yawning using the spot light from another vehicle positioned on his side. This lion is one of the 2 brothers who reign over multiple prides on both sides of South Luangwa river. This park is one of the few places where we can do night game drives which are highly fruitful.

Really cool and different! I like the lighting and the dark blue BG. The open mouth really is great with this lighting.

Really cool. The lighting looks natural enough as well!

Couple nits, I recommend that you do a pass of NR to eliminate the shadow noise and banding. Also, I suggest that you desaturate purple particularly on the lion behind the face.

Love the effect you achieved with the spotlight hitting the pink inside of the mouth. The hint of blue in the sky adds a little extra depth. Very nice.

Great shot and lighting. But I have mixed feelings about using spotlights on animals. Here, in India, it is completely banned.

Hello,... Very Dramatic effect with Spotlight, A little soft with the 1/60.

I too am not a fan of Spotlight , but can see it serves as a momento of the occasion.

I usually don't bother with night drives as the results typically are poor. This is the exception that proves the rule! Well done.
