Just minutes before, I told my wife. "If he would go up on the hill and bugle it would make a great shot". The sun had not quite come up yet but there was light color in the sky-a silhouette was the only option.

A couple of things I would consider changing on this one. Although the terrain may be sloping naturally down to the right, I would give it a bit of CCW rotation because the legs are also leaning that way and it gives the appearance of not being straight. It also appears he may have had a pretty good hit on the top of his nose, so I would probably do a bit of cloning to eliminate the bump. It is a great capture and very desirable. A nice clean silhouette.

Ain't it great when the subjects do what you want them to! Wonderful bugling pose. Have you tried bumping up the saturation to bring the color up more? I do like the pastel as shown, just thinking it might be another option.

A nice clear silhouette Terry and a good bugling pose. My only minor nit is the back leg positioned behind the front giving the appearance of a three-legged bull.

Thank you for the feedback. Will work on another version, but there
is no way I would ever clone or modify the natural look on an animal.
Images are captured as seen and any other representative does not fit
my photo beliefs.
