Hidden Jem

After worrying for months that we wouldn't see any Jaguars on this trip, five minutes on the river headed for the Floatel we spotted this Jaguar on the riverbank.  The water taxi stopped so we could get a look, and a few minutes after that we spotted something walk into the shadows...a Jaguar cub!  I got so excited I increased my dof and forgot my speed.  Luckily, I got something. Canon EOS 1D IV, EF 500/4, f/10, 1/200, ISO 800.


I reposted the photo with a 10-15% crop as suggested, for your viewing pleasure (ha, ha),

I think this is a first for the forum Bob - the first Jaguar cub! What a thrill it must have been for you to realise you were getting such a shot. A beauty!

Wow, great to get a cub like this Bob!  If this is full frame I might crop it a bit more closely.
