A bull moose takes a rest in the rain from scraping the velvet off its antlers in the sage at Grand Teton National Park earlier this month.

Really cool shot with the low angle, the eyes, the vegetation in his antlers and the sky. IMO it might be better without those branches in the upper left foreground, but heck, that's habitat.

Nice behaviour capture Jerry, and that is a wild looking eye! I like the perspective putting him in the power position, and the lovely colour palette with the sage brush and the cloudy sky.

This is awesome Jerry! I'm so jealous! It's good to see he still has some velvet hanging in there amongst the shrubbery too. Nice one! :)

I agree, The branches could be easily cloned out.  I was able to move around him, and this was the most open shot I could get.

Nice looking bull and an interesting perspective on this one. The moss on the Antler is a nice touch. Love it.
