This guy is the "King of the Herd" of a large gathering of elk not far from my home. It was late afternoon and I was shooting into the sun.

Everything comes together so well here Bob, a fine looking bull posed beautifully and enhanced by the back/side light.  A lovely portrait!

Beautiful setting, pose and light. Just a nit- there is an odd solid gray triangle shape along the upper right corner- did you rotate this and miss the "edge"?

Yes I did rotate it  and missed the gray area. Thanks for pointing it out.

Gorgeous light on this handsome elk, Bob. What a rack, I can see why he was the King of the Herd.
