Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas.
1/1250 sec at f/6.3, ISO 640, Nikon D810, 300mm F/2.8 lens with 1.4 TC.
Pretty big crop.  This is the Bobcat that came from behind the blind and the distance to the Bobcat only allowed a head shot.

The harsh light casts unfortunate shadows in the eyes and the 'crunchy' textures in the background vegetation detract from what could be a nice image of this handsome cat. Just seeing it must have been a bonus!

Agree with Carol here. I am jealous because I have yet to see one of these animals in the wild.

The image quality is suffering from the distance and the crop, but the composition is good and what a subject to find.
