I brought three boys (ages 7, 9 and 15) and their mom to the ranch as part of a photography lesson. The evening couldn't have turned out better, with a grand-finale entrance of a young bobcat at dusk.
I had my 500mm lens on the camera and couldn't even fit the cat's face in the frame, so I took successive shots including the ears down to the middle of the nose on one frame and the head with only the bottoms of the ears on the other. I merged the two in Photoshop and you're seeing the results. Surprisingly, I had to look at the masks on the two layers to see where the merges were.
