I brought three boys (ages 7, 9 and 15) and their mom to the ranch as part of a photography lesson. The evening couldn't have turned out better, with a grand-finale entrance of a young bobcat at dusk.

I had my 500mm lens on the camera and couldn't even fit the cat's face in the frame, so I took successive shots including the ears down to the middle of the nose on one frame and the head with only the bottoms of the ears on the other. I merged the two in Photoshop and you're seeing the results. Surprisingly, I had to look at the masks on the two layers to see where the merges were.

This is really cute. Really nice, especially considering all the work you had to do to process it. The results are terrific.

Wow! Good job! I would have been too excited to think of the multiple shot solution.
