This 2nd year cub and its sibling put on a great, prolonged play fight which was pretty intense. Images of that to follow

Seems that the shutter speed might have been just a tad too slow?

Not sure why you think the shutter speed was too slow. 600mm 1/1250 @ 5.6 ISO 400
Light was harsh

I agree with Nate that the contrast seems a little low, other than that a wonderfully entertaining image.
Even though you did not state the shutter speed in your original, it seems OK to me as it has picked up the water trails perfectly.
