Western Coachwhip Snake photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas.
This is one of the most numerous snakes in South Texas and also one of the largest snakes in Texas growing up to eight feet long.

Interesting composition on a species I have never seen in the wild. Sharp where it needs to be. I like the reflection. Thanks for posting.

That curve of the body makes a perfect composition, including the reflection is a bonus. Very nice.

Nice. I love coachwhips. Fast, hyper….tree climbers. Did not know they were common in Texas. Did not even know there was a Western variety.
