The poor light here does the image no favours as it is neither clear or silhouette. The road is very dominant in the composition, especially in the foreground and I would crop almost up to that rock on the right side of the track to focus the attention more on the cow and calf.

A nice sighting to see a cow and newborn calf but the setting and lack of light lets it down IMO.

I like Carol's crop suggestion, it really does put so much more emphasis on the ele's without losing the sense of the vastness of the landscape.
