I spent some time in the blind this week working kingfishers.  I noticed this little gal peaking around the stump early before I had much light.  The doghouse works well on the birds, but she knew something was not right.  7D, 500/F4+1.4, F8, 1/200, ISO 400, +0.67 EC, tripod, doghouse.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

Neat portrait David, he's framed up nicely by the trees. These guys are tough to shoot soaking wet like this but you did well.
