20D  500mm AV 6.3 +1

Going through some older images and found this portrait I  kind of liked.  I remember it was about -25 with a wind up on the mountain which explains my increasingly arthritic fingers :)   There is controversy if Fannin Sheep are just a colored phase of dall sheep,  stone sheep or a cross between the two.  They can be from almost white to quite dark brown and anything in between.

John, what a fine portrait!  The detail is impeccable, and the exposure is perfect with good detail throughout the whites. The detail and catchlight in the eye ice It.  One of my favorites of your images.

Nice! I'd never guess it was cold from the photo, looks almost like a warm day. Excellent details.
