The calves are certainly taught to be at home in the water at an early age Mark! A sweet illustration of the nursing behaviour - with the ever present biting flies, and what wonderful light!

Very nice Mark! This is one of those images (one of many for you) that really illustrates how careful and respectful you are with the animals. I've spent quite a few days in the field with you, and like to think that I have learned much from watching you in this respect. To get this kind of behavior with a "wild" moose is not something you could blunder into.
