A good illustration of the harsh conditions these coastal horses endure showing the swollen belly from the high salt intake of their diet and the poor nutrition indicated by the ribs showing. At least with the birth control used on these herds they can't add too many foals to add to their problems. You have to admire their tenacity making the best of what they have.

I like the way the flow of clouds mimic the direction and pose of the subject, and the nice gentle colours.

I agree...nice soft transistion of colors. I love th hair over the face. Would make a great large print on your wall.

I find the contrast between the colors in the horse and the sky to be very appealing. Nicely done!
