Nice eye contact -- and an attractive setting too.

Lovely pose and head turn with excellent detail Cecil. Are those sores on his hind legs caused by the biting flies? they do look nasty. I wish for a touch more room all round so he doesn't seem so cramped.

I agree that the eye contact and head turn are very good, and I like the fact that we can see this young bull is standing in water - nice remote habitat.

I have seen these raw spots before and yes I am pretty sure it is the famous Maine bug armada that put them there. Funny the bugs do not prevent them from doing what they do. They casually swim and feed and an occasional ear flick seems to be the only response.

Thanks Cecil, I guess they have to become resigned to getting on with life regardless of the attacks because they just have to live with the problem.

Great detail and nice eye contact. I would love to see more space all around but especially under his feet.
