Coyote with an itch

I met this guy on the pathway the other morning while I was searching for barn owls. Struck out on the barn owls but was entertained by this friendly coyote for several minutes.

Very nice behavioral capture Bob. Coyotes have itches too, don't they. Great lighting, and that unique pose with all the legs at a different angle cracks me up.

Fleas, ticks, moulting fur and heat - when you got an itch, you got to scratch!   :D

Lovely behaviour capture Bob with the legs going every which way, and you know how good a scratch in the right spot feels!
