Found this cute little 4 year old (?) Grizzly near sundown in the Canadian Rockies. It must have been digging roots. Really not a good year for Bears in the Canadian Rockies. No first year cubs, that I saw. Probably mostly due to the Blueberry crop failure last fall. Very few Grizzlies. Also, at least 13 Bears were killed on the RR tracks due to spilled grain. I won't go into the weather. Hopefully things will improve next year. Canon EOS 1D IV, EF 100-400 IS II @ 124, f/5, 1/1250, ISO 2000.
