Spent some time in the expansive short grass prairies and was able to come away with a few images of these beautiful and pretty uncommon Swift Foxes.  At one point they were an endangered species, not so any longer.  They have an ever decreasing range however and it was a great experience being able to photograph and watch them in their element.

Mike, this is gorgeous! I love the soft focus, with the wildflowers. It makes the fox stand out

Fantastic photo, Mike!. Pose, eye contact, low angle and dreamy DOF all add up to one stunning image!

A great shot. Love the framing and the selective focus. What a treat to see this small fox.
