A very recent close encounter with a European/Brown Hare, thanks for looking, cheers!

A mad March Hare in May Steve! That is one crazy eye, and the notches out of the ears denote a few scuffles - maybe a female who has been nipped a few times by ardent suitors. Lovely natural setting with the back light through the grasses!

Great use of backlight to illuminate those whiskers. This guy looks like a real character with those ears and eyes. Excellent work!
