Submerged wood turtle in habitat

This is a creature that is becoming more scarce, a wood turtle.   They are semi aquatic and not too wary.      This one was scavenging a back eddy of a river.    

1/160, f 13  gobe light used for help with focusing.

Wow, Kevin!Love this image. The over the shoulder look is so nice. The clarity and exposure are excellent. And what a great species! I'm jealous.

This is great! At first I thought cropping out the surface flora would make this image a little better, then the more I look at it I like it this way better. I like it both ways! The environment here is so cool and you nailed the focus and lighting on this! Congrats on EP!
