Tundra Red Fox

Here's another shot of a Red Fox that we photographed in Nome.  This animal walked straight toward us with no fear, past us and then up onto this rock hill and looked down at us.  It was noted in my other posts that this arctic subspecies is much paler than most.   Full frame.

Nice shot Nate! Its always interesting to see the different characteristics and behaviour of the foxes in different environments. It would appear that in the areas that have less human contact they are more relaxed - until they have cause to learn to take avoiding action.
