At sunrise on the rim of the South Dakota Badlands 2 weeks ago.
Canon 1DM3, 70-200mm at 200mm, f/2.8 at 1/500sec, 800 ISO,

gorgeous colours Jerry. I'm guessing he just got up with the detritus falling below the belly. The oof bg still adds context. Nice one !!

Yes I did. I had to change from my 500mm to my 70-200 so I could get the BG.
Here is another bull same morning at 148mm and about the same distance and area. Coming from the west the Sage Creek area, the prairie starts to brake up into the badlands.
