The Spectacled Leaf Monkey or Dusky Langur  is an arboreal and somewhat shy species that inhabits the Malay peninsular.
The species is relatively large and slightly clumsy in their passage through vegetation. They have the cutest orange babies that are well cared for by the mother and often several other females.
This character was photographed ion the island of Langkawi in the Kedah State near the Thailand Border. The young male was browsing on some low vegetation and allowed my to approach relatively closely.

One of the cutest looking monkeys I've ever seen. Super portrait Graeme - the "clown" face cracks me up. Interesting background information too.

A nicely detailed portrait of this fascinating species Graeme, a lovely view of their wonderful facial features. I do hope you get some images of their apricot coloured infants, they are really adorable!
