Galapagos Land Iguana

This was taken during this year's Galapagos photo tour, it's my favorite portrait of this species so far.   Taken on North Seymour Island which is a nice seabird nesting island near Santa Cruz Island. 
 
Nikon D7000, Sigma 150-500 at 380mm 1/400 F9, iso 400

Striking portrait Nate; I can see why it is your favorite. The impeccable detail makes the image for me - makes me want to travel to the Galapagos Islands too. Excellent work!

Wonderful detail- such an interesting critter. The complementary background color is pleasing too, you can see how they would blend in to the environment.
