Red Fox kit

Very young Red Fox kit , with it's puppy fur standing up ! Colour will start to appear soon as the kit matures.
Sun was quite low on a late afternoon .

Nikon D610
Nikon lens 200-400vr F4
taken @ 250mm
 F7.1, 1/800 , !SO 1400
Small crop off left side,  
Hand held   with -.67 meter compensation
one pass NR

I know what you mean Bill, when I watch cubs playing I have to remind myself I've got a camera! They are so wonderful to see with all their antics.  :D

Hello again

The time was late afternoon and sun was very low and setting soon. The fox was in deep shadow with little detail seen , I exercised in RAw Shadow which helped some and then in ps6 shadow/highlight to bring out more shadow detail while losing much shadow. Thanks for looking and the feedback, Much appreciated,!
