This is from Nome, Alaska where we photograph this species each year. I liked the setting in this one with the young calves. They ran off soon after this so we weren't able to get close to this group of mothers and calves.

A good illustration of their protective behaviour Nate, the cows all facing in different directions on alert for any danger to their precious calves. A very nice capture of this group in their natural habitat.

I haven't seen many images of these. I would take one of those babies home with me in a flash - cute for sure.
