It happened so fast and unexpectedly that I failed to change the aperture to get the whole frame in focus. There was no alarm call when I noticed the movement in the grass and instinctively swerved towards the spot. By that time the charge was on and the Hog Deer was already in full flight. The tigress, however, missed her mark.
