Taken last fall in Cook Inlet.
We all took great pleasure watching this Brown Bear Cub playing with a fish head.

Michael, I can honestly say that this is one of the most special bear cub pictures I have ever had the pleasure to see. Your beautiful image so poignantly captures this cub's character, even its very essence, and illustrates so well the old wisdom - 'One man's trash is another man's treasure'.

I am moved, and I love everything about it. Thank you!

Thanks everyone,
You're so right Carol. I think the fish head drifted up on the beach from a commercial fishing
vessel. The bears where catching salmon, but this is not a salmon head.

I love the cub's stare at the fish with the paw reaching towards it.
