I found this lovely gopher tortoise along a sandy path in central Florida. I've always wanted to see one, so it was quite an exciting moment for me! I chose to focus on close-ups to show off the scales and details of this guy. Thanks for looking!
Techs: Canon 7D, Canon 70-200 f/4 @ 168mm. 1/8th second, f/9, ISO 400. Tripod.
