Here's another shot from our South Africa tour last year.  This was taken from our safari vehicle in Addo Elephant National Park zoomed out as far as I could (effective of 225mm).  I then cropped in a little bit to get to this point.  I like it for the eye contact and the texture of the horns.
Nikon D7000, Sigma 150-500 at 150mm 1/125 F8, iso 1000

Nate, the details on the horns are tremendous. The image exudes power and threat, whilst the old dagga looks like within a blink of an eye, will explode into one bad tempered brute.. Nice one!

The captured look says a TON....
Great detail with that lens and ISO 1000 from the D7000 is impressive.
