A battle scarred Bighorn Ram taking a siesta on a firm bed south of Taos.
Nikon D700, Nikon 500f4, f7.1@1/500 sec., -1/3 EV.

He has seen a few battles hasn't he. Nice relaxed pose in an attractive setting. I'm seeing a greenish cast in the white rump and white muzzle, not sure if he's stained from the lichens or if maybe the greens are a bit oversaturated. Otherwise a fine image.

Thanks, Cindy! I am struggling with my colors lately and can't figure out if it's my eyes or what. One day an image looks good and then the next day the same image seems to have a color cast! Old age, I would guess!

A lovely image of this relaxed and battle scarred ram Joe! If this is your original image the colour looks fine to me and I would think any added colour could well be from the lichen, as Cindy suggested.
