Love the low angle view - that must have been hard to get. I'm wondering if there is a slight blue cast to the beaver? We have a lodge near us but I have never seen a beaver there. Steve

The beaver has no blue colour itself. The blue comes from the sky, because I took this picture very late in the day.
Actually, I met two beavers that day, and they were not afraid of me at all. You can get very close to them if you don't pose a threat.
