Sloth Bear Cub on Mothers Back

One year ago today I saw my first sloth bear sighting in the wild in India!! It was an incredible experience, and I was fortunate to see them for a number of days. It got even better when a mother showed up with 2 cubs and was carrying them around on her back!!

Now that's a bear you don't see often - well done. And with a cub! The light conditions were not ideal, but it's really great to see this remarkable animal.
