On a recent trip to Florida i came across a family of raccoons in a mangrove area, After about an hour they had made their way towards me and at the end were very close, This image is full frame, The raccoons were feeling for roots and shellfish

Nice behaviour capture Dave, such industrious creatures and this shows how they use their forepaws or 'hands' so well!

Very nice Dave. I like seeing all the details in the "hands"- you can see how they are well suited tools for all the kinds of food they get in to.
