Bobcat 2015

We were fortunate enough to photograph this bobcat (same one as last year) again this year on my recent winter tour.  Pretty sure this is a young female now 2 years old.   She very seldom looks at the people who enjoy watching her hunt waterfowl along the river.

Image was cropped 12% for composition and I cloned out a couple distracting branches upper left....

What a gorgeous cat! Personally I would like a touch more snow detail especially around her feet to anchor her to the ground, but still a lovely image!

I like the walking pose and slight turn of the head. I can see the rolling snow in front of her.

Love the pose and detail in the cat. Agree with Carol about wishing for more detail in the snow, but in some light that just doesn't seem to be possible to achieve.
