On A recent trip to Costa Rica, Juan Carlos Vindas, one of the tour leaders with only two hours into the tour spotted these guys with his exceptional keen eyes, wow, this was the start of a Magical Mystery Nature Tour, It only got better each day from that point..

These guys Juan Carlos and Don are the best.

Taken from outside the tour bus with a Nikon D7100, Lens my trusty Nikkor 300 2.8 VRII, with a TC 1.4.

f5.6 @ 1/400 sec ISO 320.

I know you were looking forward to this trip Rob, and it sounds like you weren't disappointed!  It can be difficult photographing up into the tree canopy and you got a superb image of this adult and infant.

Robert ,
Yes I am sure about the ISO 320, if I could get ISO 3200 out of a D7100 body I would be a happy guy and so would Nikon :)the highest ISO I have ever pushed and that was ISO 1600.

Thank you for your kind comments, truly appreciated.

Rob
