Tried for an environmental shot here as a thunderstorm came rolling in off the mountains one afternoon.
7D, 500/4 the 1.4xTcII.

Hello Scran

I think the sky is so powerful with brightness , it pulls the eye to it and the scene is lost. Maybe tone down the sky some to give a complete view of this impressive scene

Nice to see the wider view and I would be tempted to darken the image to better portray the mood with the approaching storm.
