Little Red Brocket Deer Mazama rufina

Hi all, don't often post in this section as I don't often shoot wildlife as a subject. This small deer is found in the Andes of Ecuador, Columbia and Northern Peru and is classified as vulnerable, It was just outside the lodge building at Guango Lodge in Ecuador not long after we arrived, quite small adult weight is max of 20kg.

A nice unexpected opportunity for you Chris, and you got a good view of this tiny deer - interesting eyes, they look almost nocturnal. I think this could be a first for the forum. Nice one!

Such a cute little fellow and very weasel like in appearance for a deer - nice capture as well, I like the inclusion of the surround with some DOF
