A Bighorn Ram from a few hours ago south of Taos above the Rio Grande.
Nikon D700, Nikon micro 200f4@f4 and 1/5000 sec. All C&C welcome.

Hello Joe

Nice setting, Congrats. The lighting is a little harsh but you dealt with it quite good here. Maybe bring out more shadow detail if possible.

Love the subject, surroundings, and pose. I prefer the original, repost looks a little too washed out. Might only try removing a little of the blue/cyan from the snow. A nice reminder of past adventures for me.

Nice ram and good pose with head turn up on his lofty rock perch Joe! My only nit, as already mentioned, is the difficult light casting the strong shadows across his body. If only he could have turned so the light was in the opposite direction - behind him.
