Surprised , this female Grizzly has an expression of surprise!
After swimming the estuary waters she climbed the shoreline to a knoll and I was now visible to her! I was floating with the tide in a Zodiac boat, and very quiet , so as not to disturb her natural environment . The water dripping from her wet coat and paws giving off a colourful bronze look. D700 while using a 70-200mmVR F2.8 lens, VR normal mode & @ 200mm, Hand held, slight crop overall, -.67 meter compensation, Mid day with cloud cover and rain, 1/320, F5.6, ISO 400, one pass selective NR, Taken in Northern British Columbia Canada , about 25 miles in from the Pacific, and about 20 miles from Alaska Border, in KHUTZEYMATEEN Grizzly Bear Sanctuary.
