One of the first mild weekends in a long time.  Great for spending time outdoors.  With the rut season coming to a close, male deer are becoming more tolerant of one another.  These 2 were playfully chasing each other.  I think one of them is an 8-pointer.  A 10-pointer showed up later and its fur was kind of torn in spots, no doubt from quarrels with other males.  Wish I had a bit more room on the left in the image.

Canon 7D MK2.  Canon 70-200 2.8L + 1.4x.  Manual exposure.  ISO 3200.  f/5.6.  1/400.  Ai-servo.  Gitzo monopod support.  Thanks for looking.

Yeah a tiny bit more room both left and right would be nice, but this is still a fine image.
