There was a prediction of falling snow starting in the early AM, So I headed out to look for wildlife to photograph. I came across this nice buck as he was making his way through the forest. I zoomed out to show the Whitetail in his snowy environment.

This is lovely John. I like the mid-stride pose. I hope you kept shooting and got it when it was another 2 steps in to the frame as well- where there is a bit less of a merge with the tree behind the rump. But that's being very picky, this is a really pretty image. I like that you went wide and captured the habitat.

A lovely scene John, the wider view is really appealing with that dusting of snow.

I did Cindy, but the legs were in a position to show only "three" legs and when showing images of walking/moving animals I always like to show all four legs. Shortly after that he took off on a faster pace and the angle was now moving away. but I agree the tree blocking the head gear takes away a little of the image! Thanks for the comment!

I really like the shot as well. A couple of the comments noted above are valid--also the clarity is a bit light. Nonetheless, it's a nice shot with a great scene/environment.
