Whitetailed buck in heavy cover

This buck was following a doe through heavy cover and was invisible except when he occasionally raised his head. Fun image to get.

Canon 1D4, 500mm f4L IS II, ISO 500, f 8, 1/1250 sec, manual exposure, hand held

Nice behaviour illustration Bob with his lip curl, and it just shows how well he would be camouflaged if he kept his head down!

Yeah definitely a fun image! It is surely amazing how well hidden even such a large animal can be. Thsi shows well that ability.
