Who Let the Dogs Out?

Thirteen (11 visIble) Wild Dogs taken about a month ago at Samburu.  What I wouldn't have given for more light and a view of the other end of these beauties!  My first sighting.  Canon EOS 1D IV, EF 70-200/2.8 + EF 1.4 II, f/4, 1/400, ISO 800.

We would all rather see front ends instead of rears Bob, but I would happily have settled for a view like this on any of our African trips - it was always a case of them just having passed through before we got there, or arriving just after we left a particular area! How fantastic to see a pack like this! Colour me green.

I love the ears on these guys. Agree with Carol's comment on the rear view and also would prefer that they not be standing on a road.
