Have just returned form another fabulous "suicide month" (late dry season) trip to the North & South Luangwa Nat Park- Zambia.
Here was one of the highlights, a very playful (almost Sabie Sands like ;) ) male leopard completely comfortable with our presence, which, especially for males here is not always the case.
It was late and he was getting quite frisky and an indication of a time to start thinking about food!

D4s  500 f/4 VR  1/640s  f/6.3  ISO800. cropped 15%  lower FG.

Cheers

He does look relaxed, that's for sure. Love his facial expression. I like the low angle too.

Such typical 'pussy cat' behaviour whatever their size, isn't it Marc. What a lovely shot- I especially like the expression and those furry mittens, with the late sun catching the eyes being the icing on the cake!

Terrific Marc, just love the low perspective with him looking right at you. This looks like a pose my house cat would take. What a treat.

Thanks Morkel,

It was from our vehicle and fortunately we positioned ourselves at a lower position on the dry river bed to get this better perspective.
