I agree with Rachel. Wonderful setting, pose, and eye contact.

Great image, Missy. I love the fresh snow and surrounding foliage. What is he doing with his rear legs in the pile of snow? Is he digging? I too like the direct eye contact and the dark brown color of the eyes is captivating. Compositionally, I'd like some more space on the bottom. I might also add just a slight touch more sharpening overall.

It looks like a juicy furry snack was detected lurking under that snow to cause this excavation! Nice behaviour capture Missy and an interested gaze from the busy coyote.

A lovely setting indeed, always so interesting to see how close animals' coloring is to their environment. I'm also thinking a bit more space at the bottom would be good, but only because of how deep the front paws are in the snow. Very nice just as it is, especially when viewed against the darker background.
