We were very lucky to see one in the open at Masai Mara.. Nov 2014.
ISO 400, f8, 1/500 shutters.
D4, 500m + 1.4xTC

Probably the most out in the open and clear shot I have ever seen of this super cool species of cat.

Dang!! Beautiful cap with a nice pleasing straight forward composition. The soft background really helps draw attention to the beautiful Serval. I think this one is oversharpened just a touch.

How cool to have this cat in such an open setting. Gives you a real appreciation for how long and lanky it is, how streamlined and how much power it must have in those hind legs.
