"Buck in fall"

This image was taken a week ago when the fall colors were past peak, but this guy stopped in the correct spot for what was left of the color. He was leaving this meadow heading to the woods on his search for receptive does.

A beautiful specimen John! Just look at that typical "in the rut" neck! Nicely captured. People don't realize the work that goes into getting good White-Tail images.

I think the does led him astray.
I like the framing with the dried flowers on the left.

I really like the way the buck is displaying here and the fall leaves add a nice burst of color to the photography.

He certainly looks pumped up with testosterone by the size of his neck John, and it appears he has been sparring too. Nicely done with his regal pose and the fading autumn colours behind.
