Image taken before sunrise. This all cow group of moose enjoyed the Alfalfa fields of Northern Maine last week.

D3S, 80-400mm, ISO 8,000, F 5.6 @ 1/125th sec.

Love it. Great lead in with the composition and such a unique sight. It almost looks like a painting with those soft pastel colors.

This is so unique. I've never seen a herd of moose before.

plus one to that Mark !!    Not bad for iso 8000 too.  Saw a program last night on Wild Russia... where the "Moose" gathered to find better food spots.(they don't like to mingle and usually get stressed and fight when in company, so this is a rare shot imho... this reminds me of that.
